If you are interested in seeking membership in our panel, please contact our office at 800-757-7111. Our provider panel is extensive. However, we still need providers with certain skills and in certain geographic locations. Application does not guarantee inclusion in the network.
Steps to Becoming a NorthCoast Provider
Credentialing: We have been delegated by Anthem to do credentialing. A packet will be forwarded to you for completion. Once returned, it will be reviewed and presented to Anthem for final approval. To provide services for MMO members, your credentialing information is forwarded to a MMO representative for review.
Contracting: A draft contract will be sent to you for review. Upon your agreement and completion of the credentialing process, the final contract will be sent for signature.
Orientation: Time will be scheduled either in person or on the phone to go over the process for referrals, ongoing care, and claims submission; mutual expectations; and the “ins and outs” of working with the network.
Re-credentialing: This must be done every three years to remain a member of the panel.
Both Anthem and Medical Mutual are apprised quarterly of any additions to the panel.
